Buyer

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct weekly analyses and checks to ensure appropriate levels of inventory are maintained. This includes:
  • Placing timely orders of materials and monitoring their delivery fulfillment.
  • Performing administration such as raising POs, updating SAP of orders received, following up on weekly backlog of orders.
  • Monitoring of potential shortage of materials, highlighting to the management and production teams, and following up with suppliers about delivery schedules.
  • Reducing excess inventory by monitoring slow-moving stocks, activating appropriate steps and systems to prevent over-stock of affected inventory, and notifying suppliers through potential delay order reports.
  • Analyzing root causes of stock shortage/ excess and working with suppliers to make appropriate amendments to supply schedules.
  • Analyzing inventory levels and recommending reasonable safety stock level to be included into SAP system.
  • Anticipating critical inventory volume changes due to dynamic changes in production demands.
  • Discussing with Supply Chain and Purchasing teams about order lead time, minimum order quantity, supplier performance, delivery accuracy and timeliness, order forecasting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
  • At least 3 years of inventory management of raw materials experiences in an electrical/ electronic products’ manufacturing environment, and preferably in a Buyer, Material Planner or Supply Chain role.
  • Possesses skills in procurement management, order scheduling, manufacturing process and developing short term order plans.
  • Must possess hands-on experiences in SAP (PP and MM).
  • Proven ability to multi-task and drive outcomes.

Quality Engineer
Riau - Batam
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure effective manufacturing processes and conformance of finished goods to customers’ specifications by:
    • Analyzing quality issues and root causes
    • Resolving technical and quality issues with appropriate stakeholders with proper documentation and corrective/ preventive actions
    • Training Line Inspectors and Final QC Inspectors about required quality standards
    • Performing process and product audits
    • Ensuring the quality of parts conform to the customers’ requirements.
    • Establishing, updating and reviewing BCI
  • Register and closely follow-up on customers’ feedback about quality issues by:
    • Identifying the issues, troubleshooting and discussing them with the related stakeholders
    • Implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of corrective actions
    • Provide a fast, accurate and appropriate response to the customer about solutions and schedules
    • Properly closing the issues to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Develop and deploy qualification processes, checklists and timelines that conform to Schneider Electric’s production system and other quality documentation requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experiences, preferably in an Electrical/ Electronic products’ manufacturing environment
  • Candidates with good knowledge of IEC standards, product designing, project management, FMEA, QC improvement tools, 6-sigma, statistical analysis will be prioritized.

Test Engineer (based in Batam)
Riau - Batam
Responsibilities:
  • Define qualification plan that drives each project to run smoothly after qualification and during mass production.
  • Develop SOPs and clear instructions for critical tester processes and maintenance schedules so that the line staff are knowledgeable about its operations and maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure a proper traceability system is in place and well maintained for existing and new projects so as to provide trace data as soon as required.
  • Assist the maintenance team to identify critical spare parts and ensure their availability so as to have a sustained manufacturing process and timely preventive maintenance regime to be carried out.
  • Ensure continual improvement by developing new ideas or improvement plans from feedback about the manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical support to the maintenance team to reduce machine downtime.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experiences, preferably in an Electrical/ Electronic products’ manufacturing environment
  • Candidates with good knowledge in electrical control system, electronic circuits, PLC, HMI, VSD, Inverter or PCBA applications will be prioritized.
  • Programming abilities with VB, .Net, C++.

Supplier Quality Engineer
Riau - Batam
Responsibilities:
  • Manage suppliers’ quality performance.
  • Manage the suppliers’ critical quality issues escalated by the factories.
  • Initiate and develop action plans to drive supplier quality performanceimprovement.
  • Develop suppliers’ capabilities through 6-Sigma and Lean Manufacturing:
  • Conduct continuous improvement projects with suppliers on critical business issues.
  • Train/ coach suppliers.
  • Define targets to establish and maintain supplier quality.
  • Conduct supplier quality audits.
  • Deploy corporate initiatives and train/ coach our supplier management staff at our factories.
  • Prepare supplier performance reports and interface with Schneider Electric’s regional headquarters about the findings and recommendations.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least6-8years of relevantsupplier quality management experiences in Electronics/ Mechanical commodities/ supplier management, and familiar with manufacturing processes and technology.
  • Preferably possesses 6-Sigma Greenbeltor above.

Senior Quality Engineer (Customer & Product Quality Management)
Riau - Batam
Responsibilities:
  • Interface with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to address product quality issues:
    • Compile and conduct defects analyses of the quality issues.
    • Document and monitor the action plans and timeline to address and close the issues.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of the corrective actions vis-à-vis Product Return Rate, Manufacturing Defect Rate, etc.
  • Perform document control, and prepare performance indices and reports:
    • Ensure the SAP system contains accurate and verifiable information such as BOM, pricing, sales information, stock level, forecasting information, vendor listing.
    • Prepare and submit Quality KPIs into the SAP system.
    • Periodically analyze each KPI, present and update in SAP the findings related to root causes, action plans, timelines, and trend of occurrence.
    • Compile and present supplier data and performance in terms of delivery timeliness, accuracy, product quality, stock level, lead time, etc, and ensure the corrective actions are carried out effectively with improvements of our product quality.
  • Ensure our Schneider Production System’s toolkit/ database is updated and properly implemented.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experiences in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Electrical/ Electronics/ Assembly/ Stamping/ Moulding industry.

Method Engineer (based in Batam)

Responsibilities:
Design and implement reliable, flexible and balanced manufacturing processes while taking into account the safety requirements, product quality and in accordance with our production system’s principles. Monitor productivity of the plant and solve problems when they occur. Prepare and present motion-time analysis and productivity reports. Identify, analyze and implement improvements to the technical limits and human interfaces of the manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Industrial/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.

Upstream Flow Specialist (Supply Chain)
Riau - Batam
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report critical supply chain issues that affect quality and production schedules.
  • Work with suppliers and ensure their solutions to address the supply issues are effective and carried out in a timely manner eg defining the shipment mode from overseas suppliers in order to optimize the inventory within agreed lead time.
  • Collaborate with local suppliers to improve their material management and production processes.
  • Conduct supply chain audits with local suppliers and ensure proper follow-up and closure of non-conformities.
  • Conduct regular capacity reviews to ensure sustainable supply of materials for order fulfillment.
  • Participate in NPI projects, carry out material planning, and establish sustainable upstream flow of materials with new and existing suppliers.
  • Lead the supply chain transition and set up the logistic parameter flow for localization projects.
  • Lead the improvement of MOQ and supplier lead time via collaborative actions with the Purchasing team.
  • Ensure Material Master Parameters are correctly set in accordance with agreed specifications with each supplier (eg pricing, lead time, MOQ).
  • Deploy appropriate just-in-time methodologies and tools to optimize inventory supply and improve purchasing forecast accuracy.
  • Develop cross-functional relationships and lead change management with production staff.

Test Engineer Leader

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a capable team of Test Engineers and monitor their performance through KPIs.
  • Develop, review and deploy tester qualification processes (Cpk, critical parameters, traceability, Pokayoke) for new projects, line balancing, and improvement projects.
  • Conduct routine analysis of tester performance (Cpk, FPY1, machine breakdowns, etc).
  • Perform tester modifications (hardware, software, database) according to the requirements from new machines, improvement projects and new innovations.
  • Provide technical support to the Maintenance and Product Test teams.
  • Support SCADA traceability and Pokayoke systems and ensure they are deployed properly in the manufacturing processes.
  • Define the qualification plan as part of a team to ensure each project runs smoothly after qualification and during mass production.
  • Assist the Method Department to define the BWI of critical benches that are interlinked with the product test processes.
  • Assist the Maintenance Department to define critical spare parts and level of control of the manufacturing processes and improve TPM.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experiences, preferably in an Electrical/ Electronic products’ manufacturing environment
  • Candidates with good knowledge in electrical control system, electronic circuits and diagrams, PLC, HMI, VSD, Timer, Safety Devices or Inverter will be prioritized.
  • Programming abilities with VB, .Net, C++.
  • Hands-on project, TPM and spare parts management know-how.

Supply Chain Manager
Riau - Batam
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the supply chain of Electrical/ Electronics (EE) components and finished products at our manufacturing plants in Batam.
  • Optimize procurement and supply workflows from supplier to manufacturing shop floor, and movement of finished goods to our distribution centres and customers.
  • Ensure the production supplies meet our technical specifications.
  • Ensure optimized inventory levels and costs through effective and accurate forecasting methodologies.
  • Develop crisis management plans to mitigate dynamic inventory situations (shortfall, excess, quality issues, delivery issues, etc) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Develop the supply chain team’s capabilities and optimize their performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related fields.
  • At least 5 to 8 years of experiences in supply chain and logistics management in an Electrical/ Electronics components or manufacturing industry.
  • Possesses strong knowledge and experiences in managing suppliers (>200), upstream supply of raw materials (>10,000 parts) and the downstream distribution of finished/ sub-assembly good to international distribution centres/hubs.
  • Proven knowledge to develop, execute and review crisis management plans.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, debug and commission production jigs, fixtures, equipment/machines.
  • Review and design/ re-design production line layouts.
  • Apply lean manufacturing and ergonomics concepts in the production line design.
  • Attend meetings with internal/external customers to discuss about product/ project requirements.
  • Research and develop new ideas and concepts to enhance production performance in the field of mechanical applications.
  • Ensure just-in-time supply of parts that support the fulfillment of the project requirements.
  • Lead other teams to integrate designs and outcomes.
Requirements:
