Diverse marine activities are focused in 4 shipyards, namely: Singapore, Graha, Nanindah and Pertama. Collectively these encompass 29 building berths, 8 floating docks, and a specialised rig building yard.

The right candidates for our yards must be able to develop and support an excellent safety culture and possess a sound knowledge of shipyard practices. They should also have practical experience in the rig building, shipbuilding or ship repair sectors, having held relevant positions in the marine or offshore industry. Purchasing Officer
Batam (Kepulauan Riau)
Responsibilities: 
  • Review technical requirements with stakeholders and recommend purchasing solution
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for ship repairs and shipbuilding projects to optimize pricing, lead time and quality
  • Ensure the purchasing process comply with company guidelines
  • Update the system with purchasing information and track deliveries
  • Monitor deliver after issuing of orders as well as checking on mill certificates
  • Review and take appropriate actions to close outstanding purchase orders quarterly
Requirements:
  • Diploma / Degree in Marine Engineering or relevant qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years procurement experience in the Offshore and Marine Industry
  • High level of integrity coupled with good commercial awareness
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Relevant knowledge of import / export procedures
