Caterpillar has exciting opportunities for accountants who want to be challenged and are interested in progressing through a number of staff and supervisory assignments.

You will have the opportunity to become one of our future business leaders. You will be in a position that will perform staff level accounting functions from low to medium complexity that support business processes and provide further experience with Caterpillar accounting practices.

Manufacturing Engineers perform the following job functions: 
  • Record monthly transactions related to different facilities and coding these transactions to the proper accounting distribution within the different entities and providing this information to the legal entities Staff Accountant.
  • Perform legal entity accruals and other accounting-related calculations that this position will maintain and perform on a monthly basis.
  • Oversee monthly tax filings, submission of annual tax reporting and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations for financial records.
  • Review clerical input and generating reports.
  • Internal management accounting including profit center reporting and budgeting.
  • Candidate with experience in developing and maintenance of internal controls, including Sarbanes-Oxley control documentation, and cost accounting, including rate development and basic business analysis will have an added advantage.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum Three years of accounting-related experience.
  • Candidates with professional Certification (CPA, CMA or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience with local Indonesia tax filings and an understanding of Indonesia laws and regulations related to financial reporting.
  • Good office desktop applications knowledge.
  • Initiative, good analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Understanding of various systems such as CMIPS, SAP and the General Ledger System.
  • Fluent in English
