We are looking for a suitably qualified professional to fill the following position:

1. Records Clerk 

As a Records Clerk in the Cat Logistics team, you’ll be accountable for supporting the  Distribution Center import / export activities, and parts quality inspections; with a prime focus on assigning tarrif/schedule codes to all parts stored under the guidance of the corporate Customs Compliance team.  Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Assigning Tariff Schedule  codes to all products according to Customs codes manual;
  • Responsibility for annual parts customs classification as well as take charge of label procedure;
  • Maintaining code information in system and updating export/import indicator in Cat customs tracking system;
  • Supporting import / export team on customs declaration when relevant government bodies require technical explanation of products;
  • Acting as communication link to the  customs team and corporate compliance team;
  • Providing technical support to operations team, taking charge of parts quality inspection;
  • Assisting customs supervisor on outbound customs cost control, such as duty drawback; and
  • Any additional work assigned by supervisor
  • Knowledge of mechanical product and components;
  • Two years of working experience in technical service area;
  • Attention to details;
  • Ability to read and communicate in English; and
  • Skilled in using MS-office software
  • Parts service experience of auto or construction machinery industry; and
  • Knowledge of customs declaration procedure.

2. Quality Supervisor 120007IN 

Your role as a Quality Supervisor 3 at Caterpillar is to contribute to the prevention of product defects by eliminating the cause and maintaining quality standards through inspection and process adherence.  You will also supervise and provide leadership for the facility Quality Inspection Team and other Quality professionals in a facility responsible for preventing quality problems through the development and maintenance of quality measurement standards. 

Caterpillar’s Quality Supervisor 3 performs the following job duties:
  • Sets priorities and recommends solutions to problems to support production requirements;
  • Provides support for quality initiatives in facility operations, supplier quality, and materials technology;
  • Ensures conformity to global quality processes defined in the Quality Management System;
  • Ensures Quality professionals are trained and competent to perform their duties;
  • Accountable for conformity to global quality processes and management reporting;
  • Establishes review schedules for product and equipment quality control;
  • Leads and manages process execution and develops plans and tools in support of all quality systems and processes, in alignment with Caterpillar Production System principles;
  • Coordinates acceptance criteria used for conducting capability studies of new machine tools;
  • Defines method acceptance criteria priorities, alternative equipment and material certification and recertification;
  • Responsible for quality-related procedure conformance to improve quality and reduce cost;
  • Disposition non-conforming material through analysis of defects and root cause identification;
  • Serves as the internal certification coordinator responsible for assisting and providing resources to internal certification teams; and
  • Attends internal certification meetings at the corporate level interfacing with other facility and corporate coordinators and plant contacts for customer/corporate approval of certification.
  • The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills and behaviors:
  • 4-year college or university degree in a manufacturing engineering-related discipline;
  • 3 – 5 years of work-related experience;
  • Excellent understanding of quality management, shop operations and maintenance procedures;
  • Good human relations, interpersonal and collaborative skills;
  • Good written and oral communication skills;
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read blueprints.

3. Human Resources Representative 

Human Resources Representative performs the following job duties:
  • Partner business leaders, provides consultation and support to line management in all aspects of HR including change management
  • Responsible for the implementation and communication of HR policies and processes
  • Provide HR operational support in the areas of on-boarding, payroll, benefits administration, annual salary planning, learning & development, performance management and HRIS
  • Act as trusted point of contact for HR advice and queries
  • Responsible for maintenance of accurate data and information in the HRIS and payroll system
  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives including employee communication sessions, team meetings, employee welfare and recreational programs
  • Management of personal files of employees
  • Diploma / Degree in Human Resource with relevant experience from a multi-national manufacturing environment
  • A seasoned HR professional with strong knowledge of local labour / employment legislation
  • Ability to navigate well in ambiguity and fluid situations associated with a start-up facility
  • A team player who is driven, analytical, meticulous and resourceful
  • Able to multi-task, work well under pressure and with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to manage time and set priorities with minimal supervision
  • Possess strong initiative, be service-oriented and is tactful in handling employees
  • Good writing, interpersonal, communication, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Proven track record of being able to work well in a multi-cultural environment
