We are looking for a suitably qualified professional to fill the following positions:

1. Advanced Purchasing Analyst

(Job Number:1200064Q) 

Responsibilities:

As an Advanced Purchasing Analyst at Caterpillar, you will have the opportunity to perform advanced analytical tasks, often of a confidential nature in support of the Global Purchasing category management and/or site management.
  • Analysis and maintenance of purchasing and quality data including purchase orders, quotations, invoices, source catalogues, material rejection disposal reports, tooling records, supplier data and measurements
  • Supporting Buyers, Supplier Development Engineers, and/or Managers working with category teams and sites
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Logistics or Purchasing with 2 years of relevant experience working in purchasing, logistics, manufacturing, and/or engineering environment
  • Effective communication skills - both oral and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative work style
  • Ability to prioritize work in a dynamic environment
  • Intermediate to advanced skill in use of computer software programs including Microsoft Office, purchasing systems, and e-mail systems
  • Familiar with basic procurement and quality principles, procedures, and techniques


2. Buyer (Job Number:1200064N) 



Responsibilities:
As a Buyer, you will provide purchasing solutions expertise, using Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management to deliver maximum value.
  • Responsible and accountable for development, and/or communication and implementation of a local or regional sourcing strategy
  • Managing policies, agreements, source catalogues, and special purchasing programs; and supporting specific Product line(s) NPI programs
  • Provide leadership for sourcing, logistics and resource management decisions
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and new product introduction activities within Purchasing
  • Liaison with corresponding Category/Platform based Buyers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Logistics or Purchasing with 5 years of relevant experience working in purchasing, logistics, manufacturing, and/or engineering environment
  • Ability to lead teams, suppliers and customers to effective solutions
  • Analytical, problem solving, and project leadership skills
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia and an effective communicator in written and oral form (to liaise with local speaking clients/associates)
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Candidates with professional certification in Purchasing and/or Inventory Management will have an added advantage


2. Supplier Quality Engineer

(Job Number:1200064P) 


Responsibilities:
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will ensure the manufacturing operations can continue operations without a detrimental impact to the process from a quality perspective
  • Managing supplier related quality issues relating to Product Production, Pre-Service or V.E.H.R (0 Hour) and Warranty (Processing and component returns)
  • Initiating supplier driven containment activity, to ensure production schedules are not prejudiced
  • Reviewing and approving 8D Corrective Action Plans
  • Maintaining accountability with the suppliers to establish containment plans related to quality discrepancies
  • Ensuring supplier is developing corrective action plans to enable operations to continue with minimum disruption
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing with minimum 2 years of relevant experience manufacturing environment.
  • Familiar with manufacturing processes used to produce components and assemblies for Caterpillar Products
  • Knowledge of shop operations and maintenance procedures
  • Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative working relationship with others inside and outside of Caterpillar
  • Solid ability to use and demonstrate statistical and problem solving tools
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and purchasing systems
