Human Resource Manager, SEA

Job Description
  • The position has to be based at Batam, Indonesia (at least 4 days in a week)
  • Develop, implement and direct HR activities in South East Asia to achieve FS Asia’s business objectives and corporate HR goals
  • Reviews headcount plans with line managers and determine appropriate recruitment strategies and schedules
  • Reviews staff transfer, hire/re-hire of employees
  • Reviews efficiency of labour (payroll cost, overtime, effective working hours, absenteeism, etc)
  • Formulate and implement new compensation, benefits and welfare programs
  • Manage compensation matters for staff - review employees’ salary, review salary structure/job grades, review promotion recommendation
  • Analyze compensation & benefits surveys reports and recommend follow-up actions to remain competitive
  • Manage performance review process through Eaton’s Achieving Performance Excellence (Apex) system
  • Reviews Total Company Training and Development plan to ensure alignment with South East Asia business goals and corporate HR goals and meets individual development needs
  • Reviews training effectiveness and recommends follow-up actions to management
  • Advises management of critical human resources situations/issues, such as changes in manpower demand and supply, legal considerations, government policies, industry practices, employment law, etc.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Degree in Business Administration or equalivalent qualifications, with post-graduate qualifications in Human Resource Management
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a HR management role in an MNC environment
  • Strong working knowledge of full spectrum of HR functions including staffing, compensation and benefits, performance management, talent management, training and development and employee relations
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
  • Team player with good facilitation skills, strategic change management and intervention capabilities
  • Independent and possess good leadership skills
