We are opening our Institute in Batam in January 2013, and we are now looking for local staffs:

1. Administrative Executive
Responsibilities:

Reports to: Student & Administration Services Manager
 
Job purpose:
Perform a variety of student services duties under supervision of Student Services Manager. These duties include timetabling, maintaining student records and pastoral care services.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
  1. Manages and maintains all student records
  2. Administers a range of student academic services from enrolment to graduation
  3. Performs student academic services which include class scheduling, issuance of transcript and the collection of course fees
  4. Manages and maintains time tabling for Academic Staff
  5. Cultivates good relationships with students, and addresses to their needs in administration-related matters and career development
  6. Performs general admin duties
Requirements:
  1. Diploma or equivalent
  2. Salary range: max – 250 SGD upon candidate experience
  3. Have sense of urgency in meeting deadline
  4. Possess good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  5. Dynamic with pleasant disposition
KPIs:
  1. To complete timetable planning no later by Week 12 of the term
  2. To disseminate timetables to student before commencement of term
  3. To facilitate and process all students’ applications (Deferment, Withdrawal etc)
  4. To ensure 100% collection of course fees
  5. To keep attrition rate to less than 5%

2. Receptionist
Responsibilities:

Reports to: Student & Administration Services Manager
 
Job purpose:
 
Candidate will be the first point of contact for all visitors who visit the Corporate Office. Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers. To be able to make recommendations and handle complaints and requests in a professional and calm manner.
 
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
  1. Performs reception duties that include communication liaison duties – retrieving, sorting and distribution of mails, and answering to incoming calls
  2. Provides general administrative functions and support
Requirements:
  1. Minimum “O” Level qualification with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
  2. Salary range: max – 250 SGD upon candidate experience
  3. Preferably from Customer-Service oriented industry.
  4. Fluent (conversant) in English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Pleasant personality and presentable.
  6. Computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
KPIs :
  1. To manage all enquiries and direct to respective departments for follow-up action
  2. To ensure daily mails are directed to respective departments for their follow-up.
  3. To ensure that 95% of the phone calls are answered during each working day

3. Accountant Supervisor
Responsibilities:

Reports to: Finance Manager/Assistant College Director/College Director
 
Job purpose:
 
Assist Finance Manager or College Director in keeping accounting book, supervise students’ payment, and maintain good relation with banks and suppliers.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain book keeping - revenue functions
  • Prepare monthly & quarterly GST and reconciliation report
  • Assist in monthly accounts closing.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting
  • Salary range: max – 500 SGD upon candidate experience
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Hardworking, meticulous, detailed, a team player
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, analytical  and communication skills
  • Team worker with ability to work independently and with good working attitude
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines

4. Admission Executive
Responsibilities:

Reports to: Admission Manager
 
Job purpose:
 
To complete the admission formalities of the applicants
To provide necessary administrative support services to International Admissions Offices and Education Consultants
 
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
  1. Ensures efficient and effective processing of applications to support the admission of students.
  2. Develops and improves student administration process
  3. Oversees the overall management of student records in terms of accuracy and integrity
  4. Provides good consultation to students
Requirements:
  1. Diploma holder with at least 1-2 years of work experience in student administration processes.
  2. Salary range: max – 250 SGD upon candidate experience
  3. Highly organized, meticulous and able to work in a fast paced environment
  4. Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
KPIs:
  1. To assist applicants in completing their admission application
  2. To assist international students with the application of Student Pass and appeals of Student Pass (if necessary)
  3. To purchase Fee Purchase Scheme and Medical Coverage before commencement of term
  4. To issue Standard Student Contracts for all successful applicants and ensure these contracts are duly signed before commencement of the term

5. Sales & Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:
Reports to: College Director
 
Job purpose:
 
Overall responsibility for a specific programme/department of the College
 
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
  1. Leads, develops, coaches, trains and maintains a team of Education Consultants, responsible for maximizing new business volume.
  2. Achieves quarterly targets set by management and generate ideas for more sales
  3. Actively explore business opportunities and expand market share
  4. Establishes and build long term relationship with clients
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Business or Sales & Marketing with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  2. Salary range: max – 1,000 SGD upon candidate experience
  3. Proven track record in developing effective marketing campaigns that meet marketing and sales objectives
  4. Experience in internet marketing is an added advantage
  5. Excellent communication skills, outgoing personality
  6. Good business contacts
KPIs:
  1. To plan and execute marketing plans and campaigns within the budget set aside
  2. To achieve 70% of the target set per quarter
  3. To motivate his/her team of Education Consultants to meet 70% of their individual targets
  4. Plan and organize as well as assist in school promotional activities (Open House, Trade Shows, Education Fairs, etc.) both in and out of normal school hours

6. Librarian Supervisor
Responsibilities:

Reports to: Student & Administration Services Manager
 
Job purpose:
 
Perform a variety of library duties under supervision  
 
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
  1. Administers and performs library-related services
  2. Issues and receives materials for circulation or for use in the library
  3. Assembles and arranges displays of books and other library materials.
  4. Cultivates good relationships with students, and addresses to their needs in administration-related matters and career development
  5. Performs general admin duties
Requirements:
  1. Diploma or equivalent
  2. Salary Range: max – 500 SGD upon candidate experience
  3. Have sense of urgency in meeting deadline
  4. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  5. Dynamic with pleasant disposition
KPIs:
  1. To update and maintain the inventory of the library books.
  2. To assist Academic Staff in sourcing for the most competitive quotes for reference or recommend textbooks.
  3. To maintain tidiness of the library at all times.

7. IT Engineer
Responsibilities:

  • Direct reporting to campus Director
  • Campus IT projects implemention
  • Cost, budgeting and Inventory control
  • On-site Implementation
  • Procurement of IT systems
  • IT policy management
  • Involve in vendor and contract management
  • Manage and provide daily IT operations
  • Helpdesk, 1st and 2nd level technical support and application support
Requirements:
  • Diploma /Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Information Systems
  • Salary range: max – 500 SGD upon candidate experience
  • Minimum 4 years IT Support (Diploma) and 2 years IT Support (Degree)
  • Understand minimum Tier 1 Datacenter requirements and implementation
  • Desktop/ end user/ client support experience
    • Expert and fluent with Macintosh systems administration, configuration and troubleshooting.
    • 4 – 5 years of IT Support experience
    • Network Printer installation on Macintosh systems
    • IT inventory management
    • Basic Windows PC systems administration
  • Network experience
    • Firewall, Router, switch configuration
    • Wifi access controller mangement is highly desireable.
    • Understand and deploy network topology
    • ISP connectivity and bandwidth implementation
    • Able to troubleshoot Internet connectivity; Wifi networks, LAN and WAN
  • Structured cabling experience
    • Understand structure cabling topologies and technologies
    • Able to size network requirements based on floor plans and business operations requirements
  • Server experience
    • IT Server room, LAN room, and equipment rack  standards and sizing knowledge
    • Directory services and File Sharing for MAC and Microsoft Windows environment
    • Server and client access deployments
    • Webserver management and administration
  • Telephony services experience
    • Familiar with Analog/digital PABX technology
    • Telephone cable management and patching
  • Software experience
    • Installation onto user systems
    • Procurement procedure knowledge
    • Deployment and implementation
    • Software Licensing maintenance and asset management
All Staffs must speak English, and a test will be conducted to ensure candidates proficiency.
